Locating a case when you know the
case name
The advanced search screen cite field also will allow you to search when you know the case name. To do a case name search, click in the “case name” radio button directly above the cite field and then plug in the names of each party. Note: You don’t need the full case name, just the most unique portions of each name. If one of the names is unique enough, one name will work. Below is an example of a case name search for the case: Skinner Packing Co.
